The Hive (postcode CA9 3PF) lies in Nenthead, reputedly the highest village in England, on the A689 between the Cumbrian town of Alston, with its cobbled streets and quaint independent shops, and the market town of Stanhope in County Durham.

There is limited parking to the front of the building but there is a large carpark opposite The Hive and adjacent to the playground.
