Step back into the 1920s, experience an evening of suspense and drama and discover the magic of cinema as it used to be! Alfred Hitchcock’s last silent film ‘Blackmail’ displays all his usual trademarks of romance, deceit, guilt and suspense in this melodramatic thriller.

Brief Encounter Duo (local musicians Chris and Veronica Perrin) will transport you back to the Jazz Age with live music from that era played on a variety of instruments. There have been great reviews for this unique show and it was nominated for the Buxton Festival Fringe Film Award 2025.
